Richardson Electronics and 3Rwave sign global distribution agreement

Richardson Electronics has announced a new global distribution agreement with 3Rwave, a manufacturer specializing in microwave ferrite devices including isolators and circulators with frequency ranges up to 40 GHz and 20 kW. Effective January 9, 2018, the agreement aligns with both companies’ commitment to partnering with customers by providing the quality and volume to meet their needs.

Richardson Electronics is a global channel partner for RF and microwave components, power electronics, and world-class electron devices. The company provides solutions and add value through design-in support, systems integration, prototype design and manufacturing, testing, logistics, and aftermarket technical service and repair.

“3Rwave’s products offer exceptional performance in leading very high frequency and very high power applications,” said Greg Peloquin, Executive Vice President of Richardson Electronics’ Power & Microwave Technologies group. “The company also offers the expertise and problem-solving abilities needed for custom solutions. We look forward to bringing their devices to our customers around the world.”

Headquartered in Suwon, South Korea, 3Rwave’s products are primarily targeted to industrial medical and telecommunication manufacturers who are looking for reliable and cost-competitive isolators and circulators in mass production. 3Rwave meets these needs with a range of drop-in, SMT, coaxial and waveguide devices.
