RingCentral retains UK G-Cloud certification

RingCentral UK, a provider of enterprise cloud communications and collaboration solutions, has been approved by Crown Commercial Service (CSS) to join the latest iteration of the G-Cloud 10.

RingCentral Office and RingCentral Contact Centre are both officially approved by the UK government, for procurement via the 10th interaction of the billion-pound G-Cloud portal.

RingCentral Office and RingCentral Contact Centre offer flexible, scalable and feature-rich communication and collaboration solutions to organisations in the public sector. All services are available through G-Cloud 10 at a cost-efficient and easy-to-understand per-user, per-month price, with scalable services available from Tier 1 data centres across the UK. RingCentral maintains high-level biometric and physical security for all RingCentral services, along with multiple redundancy layers, end-to-end encryption, failover technology, and 24/7 system monitoring.

The G-Cloud framework is a UK Government initiative designed to simplify the process of procurement for public-sector entities across the UK. Created through a partnership between the Crown Commercial Service and the Government Digital Service, G-Cloud 10 is part of the UK government's "Digital Marketplace."

The tenth version of the G-Cloud portal was originally announced in March 2018, and the CSS agreed to start accepting bids from suppliers in April 2018. Since introducing the first G-Cloud iteration in 2012, the government has invested almost £3 billion on the system, with 48% of that spend dedicated to small and mid-sized enterprises. The 10th version of G-Cloud was launched to meet the demands of new suppliers, and refresh services for current providers.
