Avnet Abacus wins Harwin distributor award

European interconnect, passive, electro-mechanical and power component distributor, Avnet Abacus, has received the 'Distributor of the Year 2011' award from Harwin, a manufacturer of connector and SMT board hardware.

According to Avnet Abacus, the award is in recognition of the outstanding levels of management, service and sales performance that have been achieved during the past year, for Harwin's extensive range of products.

The company stocks a comprehensive selection of Harwin products, including the recently introduced EZ-BoardWare range of SMT PCB sockets and coin cell holders, with product specialists providing technical expertise at both product and system level.

"Our products require distribution channel partners that offer a high level of service," states Andrew McQuilken, sales and marketing director, Harwin.
