Gigaset and NFON launch new partnership

Gigaset, provider of professional communications solutions for professional organisations, launches a partnership with NFON, the provider of a 'Made in Germany' cloud solution for business communication.

Key to the partnership is the integration of Gigaset pro’s DECT-IP solutions and the NFON telecommunication platform. Joint customers benefit from advanced features such as auto provisioning for the Gigaset N510, N720 and the related Gigaset pro cordless handsets. In addition, extensions can be completely managed by the NFON Service portal and new handsets can be added remotely via provisioning. Business users also have access to the central phone book via the handsets and benefit from access to the PBX Menu, with features such as call forwarding, hot desking and waiting queues.

Markus Krammer, Vice President Products & New Business at NFON said: “By combining our cloud communications platform with Gigaset pro‘s DECT IP solutions, we can offer our customers end user devices that are of the best possible quality and offer the reliability customers need. This is an excellent addition to our portfolio.”

Kai Froese, Head of Business & Connectivity Solutions at Gigaset added: “Customers are increasingly looking for comprehensive solutions to fill their communications needs. By collaborating with NFON our customers benefit from a state-of-the-art telephone system from the cloud, which is a future-proof investment for companies of all industries and sizes. NFON and Gigaset are both 'Made in Germany' which stands for maximum data protection and reliability, as well as TÜV-certified voice quality. With this partnership, we further strengthen our footprint in the DECT IP market for cloud solutions. We are very excited to team up with NFON and look forward to jointly help customer’s optimise their business communication.”
