Radio Data Technology signs Solid State Supplies
Solid State Supplies has signed a distribution agreement with Radio Data Technology (RDT), a specialist designer and manufacturer of high performance secure wireless radio-based products for a variety of M2M applications.
Under the terms of the agreement, Solid State Supplies will represent RDT as a franchised distributor to the UK market for the company's range of GPRS modem/router products.
RDT's RM6000 GPRS modem/router incorporates a quad band radio and is available as a board module with the option of DIN rail mounting, or in an IP67 weatherproof enclosure suitable for external installation.
Said to provide high performance secure wireless communication over the GSM network, all of the models include features such as Internet gateway, client-server, SMS, email, FTP, and RS232 point-to-point operation, as well as Ethernet connectivity and I/O for telemetry applications.
"RDT has a strong reputation for technical innovation in wireless radio-based products," said Ian Siddall, Applications Group Manager at Solid State Supplies. "This agreement provides a considerable boost to our wireless offering, and enables us to deliver a complete solution to our customers."
