Moulded M8 cable connector meets IP67

binder UK has announced a significant addition to its range of Series 718 M8 connectors with the introduction of a 5 pole moulded cable connector. This now means binder offers versions with 3,4,5,6 and 8 poles for maximum applications flexibility.

The new Series 718 connector, which binder can supply configured to meet a customer’s specific requirement, will satisfy a wide variety of complex applications in drives, controls, sensors and automation equipment.

The new male and female, straight M8 screw connectors have five brass, gold plated contacts and are terminated with either PVC or PUR cable in 2m or 5m lengths.

Series 718 connectors are protected to IP67 when mated, have a current rating of 3A, and a rated voltage of 30V. According to binder, these new M8 connectors are good for up to 100 mating cycles.
