70 W digital soldering station offers user friendly power

With the Efficiency Line WE Weller introduces a new digital 70 W soldering station especially designed for entry level professional soldering tasks, cable assembly and education. Its high power allows a fast heat-up and short recovery time of the iron, improving process speed, efficiency and precision during the soldering process.

The station comes in a state-of-the-art housing with an intuitive navigation for easy process control. The new LCD screen allows better monitoring of the presettings. Equipped with an ergonomic light-weight soldering iron and a quick toolless tip change solution, the soldering set provides not only best performance but also an extraordinary lifetime for low total cost of ownership. A new and improved safety rest grants additional support and extra stability of the soldering iron in-between soldering tasks.

Furthermore the temperature lock function offers an increased temperature stability of +/- 6°C (10°F) to protect tips and components and aid in producing uniformly high quality solder joints for reliable and repeatable soldering results. In standby-mode the station automatically powers down to a given temperature when not in use. All predefined settings can be secured with a password to ensure process quality. Both station and iron are ESD safe making the station suitable for professional or educational use.
