This Diploma in Modern telecoms is a fully accredited Distance Learning Diploma course. It includes a comprehensive training package that covers the advanced aspects of mobile, converged and fixed networks. The diploma in modern telecoms also details network technology and relevant business processes.

The diploma has a modular structure. Some modules are mandatory because they provide the essential elements of the course, but this still leaves a considerable degree of flexibility to enable students to specialise in their chosen areas.

How the diploma course operates

Depending on the study options selected, students who follow the Diploma in Advanced Telecoms follow four core modules. They can then choose either two or five from a range of elective modules – enabling them to effectively customise the programme to their job function, the company requirement, or their area of interest.

Students will be awarded an internationally recognised University Certificate if they complete the Integrated or Bridging Diploma options as detailed below:

• Standard Diploma (6 Modules) - Students study 4 core modules plus 2 optional modules

• Integrated Diploma (9 Modules) – Students study 4 core modules plus 5 optional modules

• Bridging Diploma (9 Modules) – Students study the Foundation in Telecoms plus any standard Diploma programme

The programme is assessed through an on-line final examination – successful completion of which leads to the award of the Diploma.
