This online course simplifies and explains basic concepts of radio frequency waves and common parameters used to describe them (such as dBm). Topics covered include: electromagnetic spectrum, frequency allocations and bands, basic explanations of electromagnetic fields and Maxwell's equations, RF wave characteristics, history of RF and RF safety, including exposure and SAR limits. The course is divided into bite-sized chunks so you can study at your own pace and includes supporting course notes.
