LTE Technical Overview

LTE is fast being deployed as the global 4G cellular technology. Its importance is growing rapidly and there is a need for many engineers, people in marketing and sales, technicians and many more to have a good LTE technical overview. This technical overview of LTE has been designed to provide exactly what is needed for anyone associated with the technology.

The delegate attending LTE Technical Overview training programme will gain an in depth appreciation of the architecture and operation of the LTE system including the OFDM based radio interface.

The LTE radio interface is described including the use of OFDM / OFDMA / SC-FDMA and other technologies used including MIMO and interference management. These concepts are explained, as well as other radio related topics such as IMT spectrum allocations. The LTE protocol stack and LTE procedures are also covered.
