Demystifying Spectrum and Signal Analysis

Rohde & Schwarz is offering a free one day fundamentals seminar on the practical use and understanding of signal and spectrum analysers within the RF and Microwave industry.

The seminar is designed for engineers or graduates that are new to the field of RF and Microwave, or those already experienced in the field that require a brush up to improve understanding and efficiency in their day to day work.

As well as covering the fundamental aspects, the seminar will also introduce some of the capabilities within a modern signal and spectrum analyser platform. The day will be a blend of presentations and practical demonstrations.

Topics to be covered include but not limited to:

  • Fundamentals of Spectrum Analysers, architecture and theory

  • Spectrum Analysis including high dynamic applications

  • Signal Source – Phase and Amplitude Noise Analysis

  • Wideband Vector Signal Analysis


The seminars are being held at two locations on different days:

The Oxford Belfry, Thames near Oxford, OX9 2JW, UK : Tuesday 7th November 2017

Weetwood Hall, Leeds, LS16 5PS, UK: Thursday 16th November 2017

Both locations are easily accessible by road and have good parking.
